The extracurricular activities in the
Primary Section are organized and supervised by a person
designated by administration.
They begin in the second week in September
and are open to children from third to sixth grade.
They take place from Monday to Friday between 2.30 and
4pm.
Varied
activities are offered in the different clubs and teams.
Activities include computation, dance, cooking, Scouts,
gardening, design and mechanics, United Nations model,
art, puppets and sports.
Transportation is carefully planned
by the transportation department and service is offered
to both the city and surrounding valleys.
Secondary
The American School’s extracurricular
activities offer our students a global education towards
academic excellence and social awareness.
We provide
extracurricular courses to prepare our students to the
academic challenge of the International Baccalaureate
(I.B.) in the following subjects:
Computer Science, History, Psychology,
English, Spanish, Economics, Chemistry, Environmental
Studies, and Physics. We also offer different courses
that help develop the skills and capabilities of our
students in other fields like journalism, art and
drama.
These activities take place from Monday
through Friday from 14h45 to 16h00.
