| In order
to focus on the individual learning needs of our students,
the International Section supports students through
the Learning Differences Program (LD).
Through our LD Programs, our objective
is to develop responsible, self-assured young people,
who are able to face future challenges. We employ individual
planning, differentiated methods and varied strategies
to support our students. LD Support, both in English
and Spanish, helps students to develop their skills
and strengths, compensate for their difficulties, and
achieve academic success.
Below see a list of our varied support
programs:
|
Tutoring
during extracurricular hours (D.A.L.E.): Offers
support to students in diverse academic and skill areas
as needed.
Peer Mediation:
Teaches students mediation and conflict resolution skills
to help other classmates solve problems in a positive
manner.
Learning
Differences (LD): We provide individual support
to students in areas of concern. Our LD professionals
work with teachers in preparing differentiated lessons,
giving students extra help either inside the classroom
or in a small group setting.
